A Fellowship (10 points)
Look up a party of adventurers in any fantasy story (it can be outside fantasy books). Tell me about them. What specific role does each person have? Was the party relatively successful in their goals? 100 words minimum.
Roles and Classes (20 points) - 2 points each
Below are a list of character names from the books/series I used in the lesson. Identify what series each character came from, and whether that character is a Magic User, Thief, or Warrior. Note: Some characters can be placed in multiple categories, so that's fine.

- You walk into a Tavern and find an argument between a Celebrated Knight and a Master Sorceress. Clearly the two do not get along, but you find them both intriguing and would like to recruit one to your adventuring group. The problem is neither can be persuaded to join you if the other joins as well. So you have a choice. Do you ask the Knight or the Sorceress to go with you? Why?
- Food is scarce and your Warrior is either injured, dead, or nonexistent. Assuming you and your Warrior are not the only people in your traveling crew, who do you ask to go hunting? Do you join them? Why?

extra credit 3 (30 points max)
Choose ONE (1) of the following options for Extra Credit:
A) Magic is Might - As I've mentioned in the lesson, Magic Users come in a variety of skill levels, from those who can wield fire and ice, to those who can drive the very earth to attack. They are spell-casters, healers, warrior mages, illusionists, shapeshifters, and the list goes on. What kind of Magic-User would you be? How would your magic work in general? Describe to me what you would do if you had such magic at your fingertips. 300 words minimum.
B) Were-Creature - Were-Folk are generally defined as humans cursed to take animal forms during a full moon. The most commonly known Were-Folk are werewolves, though technically, one can be some other type of animal to be considered a Were-Folk (like foxes and rabbits, etc.). Depict a were-creature through illustration or image manipulation. It can be a werewolf, or, if you're wanting a challenge, pick another animal besides the wolf. Upload any images on a photosharing site and send me the link.
C) Hear Ye Hear Ye - Alone and unloved (aw, poor baby), you are looking for several crew members to go with you in your adventure. Survival is key, of course, but what other things are you looking for in your crew members? Create an ad asking for volunteers. Let the people know what you're looking for in a crew and where you plan to go. This can be done through use of wanted posters, images, or a list or notice to be put up on the Tavern board. Upload any images on a photosharing site and send me the link.
